Ingredients
- 4 slice
- French bread or bread of choice
- 1/2 tsp / 2 ml
- salt
- 1 cup / 250 g
- Egg Creations Fat Free Original, well-shaken
- 1/2 tsp / 2 ml
- cinnamon
- 1 tsp / 5 ml
- vanilla
Directions
Dip thick slices of French bread or bread of choice; egg mixture consists of Egg Creations Fat Free Original, cinnamon and vanilla.
Let bread soak in mixture, then sauté in a little non-hydrogenated margarine in frying pan until golden on both sides.
Serve warm sprinkled with icing sugar.
Accompany with maple syrup and fresh fruit or a fruit preserve or sliced almonds (optional). Raisin bread works well too.
