Ingredients
- 2 cup / 500 ml
- fresh strawberries
- 1
- ripe avocado, pitted and peeled
- 1 cup / 250 g
- Naturegg Simply Egg Whites, well shaken
- 1 cup / 250 ml
- lemonade
- 1 cup / 250 ml
- crushed ice
- 1 tbsp / 15 ml
- maple syrup or honey (optional)
Directions
Place the strawberries, avocado, egg whites, lemonade, crushed ice and honey (if using) in a blender.
Blend, stopping to stir as needed, for 2 minutes or until smooth and well combined. Serve immediately.
Tips
Replace the strawberries with raspberries, blueberries or a combination of fresh or frozen berries or fruit.
Adjust the sweetness as needed to taste.
For an extra protein boost, add 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder to the smoothie and adjust consistency with additional lemonade to taste.
