Burnbrae Farms is very proud to be selected as the #1 Most Trusted Egg Brand in Canada.  The BrandSpark Most Trusted Award (BMTA) offers insight into which companies Canadian consumers trust the most in 150 categories.  The awards were created to help consumers make informed purchasing decisions, and to encourage excellence and help brands identify themselves as leaders in their respective categories.  Over 18,000 Canadian shoppers voted for the BrandSpark Most Trusted Award Winners for 2020 .

Burnbrae Farms is a Canadian company, proudly owned and operated by the Hudson family since 1891.  It all began when Joseph and Jean Hudson purchased a 100-acre mixed dairy farm in a small village of Lyn, just outside of Brockville.  Hens were introduced in 1943 and became the exclusive focus on the farm in the mid-60s.  Since then, Burnbrae Farms continued to grow and the Company now has grading facilities in 5 provinces, working in partnership with local egg farmers.  Our eggs and egg products can be found in your local grocery store, restaurants, food-service operations and homes across Canada.

Burnbrae Farms is also proud to be the recipient of the ‘ Innovation and Originality ’ Award at the Retail Council of Canada’s 27 ^th annual Canadian Grand Prix New Products Award.  This is the 14 ^th Grand Prix Award that Burnbrae Farms has received for our new products.  Past recognition includes awards for our Omega-3 eggs in 1996, Free Run eggs in 1998, and Organic eggs in 2000. Other innovations include Naturegg Simply Egg Whites commonly used for baking, EGG Bakes! crustless quiche which provide a nutritious and convenient way to start your day, EGG Creations! which are a low cholesterol alternative to large eggs, and EGGS2go!

Throughout 2020 Burnbrae Farms also received the Ontario Minister’s Award for Excellence in Agriculture , the Environmental Leadership Award from the London Chamber of Commerce, the Central Ontario Family Enterprise of the Year Award , and the Paul Mistele Memorial Award from Farm & Food Care and Feed Ontario for our efforts in addressing issues relating to food insecurity and hunger. Our President, Margaret Hudson, was also recognized as this year’s recipient of the Food Industry Association of Canada’s Golden Pencil Award , for her contributions to the industry throughout her career.
